Ingredients:
1/2 cup shortening
1-1/4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup mashed ripe
banana (lakatan)
How to make Banana Bread
- Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Stir in banana.
- Sift together dry ingredients; add to banana mixture; mix well.
- Pour into greased 22- by 22- by 5 cm. pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for from 30 to 35 minutes.
- Yield: 6 servings.
