To make nata-mango pie; Prebake regular pie crust. Drain bottled nata de coco. Peel mangoes and slice lengthwise, making four to five strips (about 3 to 5 mm thick) and cut remaining mango pulp into cubes. Mix sliced mango with light syrup. Set aside. Combine remaining ingredients then pour over prebaked crust. Arrange mango strips on crust. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Serve cold. - 1/4 cup light syrup 2 Tbsp. sugar + 2 Tbsp. water
- 2-3 pcs ripe mangoes
- 1/4 tsp vanilla oil
- 1 cup sweetened nata de coco
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1/4 granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
