How to Make Cape Cod Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups 210 grams all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg beaten
- 1 cup 200 grams sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening melted
- 1/2 cup 115 grams butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 3/4 cups uncooked oatmeal
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
How to make Oatmeal Cookies Cookies:
- Preheat oven to 350 °F. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonful on unbuttered cookie sheets and bake until edges are browned, about 12 minutes.
