Ingredients:
100 gms cabbage
100 gms Baguio beans
100 gms carrots
100 gms cauliflower
150 gms toge (bean sprout)
2 medium potatoes
2 square tokwa (tofu), fried and cubed
1 cucumber
How to cook Vegetables With Peanut Sauce
- Wash vegetables thoroughly and blanch one at a time in boiling water with a little salt Strain.
- Set aside vegetables and tokwa on a platter.
Peanut Sauce:
3 tbsp. oil
4 to 5 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup Tagalog onion, minced
1/4 cup bagoong alamang
1 siling haba, sliced
2 to 3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 cup tamarind juice
3/4 cup peanut butter
1 coconut, grated
2 cups coconut milk
- Saute garlic and onion. Add bagoong, sili, sugar and tamarind juice.
- Mix with peanut butter and coconut milk. Season to taste.
- Serve with prepared vegetables.
